Goal: Support Ontario teachers in their efforts to help prepare students to undertake their future economic and financial decisions and actions with confidence and competence.
The “Building Futures” project aims to help Ontario teachers integrate a basic economic and financial education into the Ontario curricula in grades 4-10. Manitoba and Saskatchewan are other provinces to date participating in The Building Futures project. By Registering, teachers in Ontario can request a copy of the Building Futures in Ontario “Teacher’s Kit” (see below). In addition, your school will be added to the list of schools participating. Our goal is to reach at least 80% of Ontario schools over three years.
